What day and time should I schedule our session?

We do have a flexible schedule throughout the week for sessions, and willing to work with your schedule depending on our availabitly from Monday to Friday.  Our favorite time to shoot is within 2 hours of sunrise and sunset. Wait, did you say sunrise? We’re always after the best light and these are the times that nature provides it. What that being said, we can accommodate any time that works best for you.

How far in advance should I schedule a session?

We’re usually booked 2-3 months in advance. Spring and fall are particularly popular times of year. 

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

No worries, we can reschedule your photoshoot with no hassles. We'll find a new session date that works for both of us at no charge. We do require a $50 deposit to hold your date which is non - refundable if you chose to cancel or prefer not to reschedule. Unfortunately, Mini sessions cannot be rescheduled.

Can I hire you to shoot my pet, wedding, headshot, party, etc?

Let's talk about your project, and if we both agree it's right for both of us, then game on! If not, we’ll recommend some great folks to help you out.

What can I expect during the session?

Our goal is to create a relaxed and fun experience while capturing genuine emotion. We find it best to let kids be kids, and will spend time interacting and playing with them to draw this out. The more you treat the session as playtime vs serious business, the better.  We shoot on location at your home, in your neighborhood, in a park or fun urban location.  We like to only use natural light.

What should we wear?

Whatever makes everyone feel comfortable! Colors and layers are fun. If possible, we think it’s best to avoid white, black, bold patterns and items with logos, characters or writing. Wardrobe changes are also doable if you'd like variety.

Should we bring anything with us?

A blanket to sit on can be handy - especially with babies. A special toy that inspires play (balls, bubbles, balloons) can also bring out some great moments with kids. We also recommend having some non messy snacks and a drink on hand. Unless getting messy is the idea - ice cream anyone?!

What if it rains?

If the weather is not cooperative, we'll either move the shoot indoors or reschedule. We'll contact you the day before our session if weather looks bad. 

How soon can I see the photos?

Images will be uploaded to your private online gallery within 4 weeks of the session. Print delivery will vary depending on items purchased.

How many photos will I see and get to keep?

We select and edit the best images from our session, a minimum of 50 images. You get all these as high resolution jpeg files. For mini sessions, you’ll get a minimum of 25 images. 

What if I'm unhappy with the photos?

We want you to love your photos. If you are not happy, we will work with you to make it right.

Will the images be in color or black & white?

We usually provide a mix, and will edit the image depending on what we think best suits the photo. If you have a preference, please let us know.
